Specification

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Undertake a leadership role in front-of-house operations managing the activities of Sales Consultants. Create an environment which delivers superior customer service through excellence in customer engagement, identification of customer needs, wants and desires, providing correct product solutions, technical knowledge and selling skills, easy to shop environment.

RESPONSIBILITY
•Set monthly and weekly budgets for Sales Consultants
Customer Service
•Ensure the company purpose (making friends & helping them cycle more often) is fully understood and lived by all team members in daily activities
•Deliver a superior customer service experience to all customers
•Achieves a Data Integrity score in line with Chain standards as set from time to time.
•Overall responsibility for the merchandising standards in store.
•Ensure all promotions are properly executed in accordance with the marketing briefs.
•Provide feedback on performance on no less than a weekly basis giving guidance on areas for improvement and complimenting areas of strength.
•Review the GP exception report and taking action where necessary on out of lines
•Continuously identifies potential risk areas in the store, and puts measures in place to manage these risks.



Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
•5+ years’ Sales Management experience in the cycling industry
•Cyclist with history of previous participation in events, e.g. mountain biking, triathlon, road races
•A tertiary business qualification would be advantageous
