MoreCorp has been successful in forging great long term media and sponsorship relationships with blue-chip organisations including Momentum, Toyota, Lexus, PWC and Supersport who currently utilise these media platforms.

MoreCorp is looking to appoint a seasoned, dynamic, ambitious sponsorship/media executive who will be tasked with ensuring that MoreCorp’s media/sponsorship partners receive their contracted return on investment (ROI). The successful appointee will be measured on this ROI on a continual basis and will report into the MoreCorp Executive Director responsible for the media division.
This is importantly a client-facing role, requiring a resilient individual who thrives under pressure. The Sponsorship and Media Executive will need to be totally comfortable dealing at a Board Room level and have the ability to forge trusted, enduring relationships with all stakeholders, especially clients. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 experience in a similar role. MoreCorp is looking to appoint an analytical, numerate candidate with exceptional communication, reporting, writing and sales abilities.
Most importantly, the successful candidate will be able to conceive, develop and implement successful campaigns with the result in quantifiable value for the media/sponsorship partners.
Some experience in media sales will be an advantage. It would be preferable if the successful candidate could build media sales relationships with digital agencies and direct clients and drive new media sales. Report on and evaluate the performance in terms of traffic volumes, engagement rates and growth through our digital campaigns
•Be the custodian and first port of call for allocated media/sponsorship partners;
•Responsible for understanding each assigned account’s business goals and objectives to provide ideas and recommendations to grow their business;
•Generate ideas for new sponsorship opportunities including retail promotions, events, website and media features, signage and community relations programs;
•Conceive, develop and implement successful campaigns which result in quantifiable value for the media/sponsorship partners.
•Ability to effectively present information to sponsors and internal representatives and respond to questions from managers, clients and the general public;
•Interact with stakeholders across multiple social media channels.
•Execute and manage specific media content across multiple channels e.g. brand websites, social media, in-store TV etc.
•Draft a range of written content to include press releases, statements, social media posts and case studies;
•Take responsibility and liaise with all relevant MoreCorp business unit heads regarding branding elements. (Design, production, implementation)
•Manage implementation of media elements across all platforms in a way that delivers measurable and predetermined ROI.
•Maintenance of MoreCorp Media platforms: light boxes, snapper frames, websites, print, branding, etc.
•Detailed monthly reporting and presentation to allocated sponsorship partners.
•Implementation and management of ad hoc media campaigns.
Qualifications and Requirements:
•A relevant three-year university degree is preferred;
•Minimum 5 years’ experience in sponsorship or key account management preferred;
•Experience in or general knowledge of client management
•Strong writing, presentational and analytical skills;
•Ability to handle multiple tasks with strong attention to detail;
•Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook;
•Must be able to work with many different personality types;
•Strong time management and administrative skills;
•Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently;
•Able to work a flexible schedule including some nights and weekends
•An ability to build relationships quickly and easily;
•An active interest in cycling and or golf.
