The Momentum Golf Villages situated in Gillooly’s and Centurion are part of the MoreCorp Group, which also owns businesses including The Pro Shop and Cyclelab retailers, playmoregolf with Momentum, lastminutegolf, Momentum World of Golf, GolfTimeSA, Gary Player Golf Experience etc.

Specification
The key performance areas include the following:
•Providing strategic leadership to Momentum Golf Villages in Centurion and Gillooly’s.
•Taking full P&L responsibility for the Momentum Golf Villages.
•Constantly reviewing and optimising business strategy as required.
•Conceptualising a sustainable growth strategy via organic growth, new business ventures as well as acquisitions.
•Ensuring a sustained growth trajectory in respect of revenue.
•Managing the successful execution of company strategy.
•Ensuring overall governance and compliance in the division.
•Ensuring best of breed human capital management practices.
•An active role in the formulation and management of the member sales teams.
•Marketing of the facility as a member, visitor, event and educational destination.
•Ensuring the delivery of media obligations to all sponsorship partners.
•Transitioning the said facility into a family friendly destination.
•Ensuring the 5 start experience of existing and future members.
•Adding value to the membership base in a sustainable manner.
Requirements
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will:
•Have a relevant degree from an accredited South African university or recognised tertiary institution – in hospitality, commerce or sports.
Experience:
The ideal candidate will:
•Be an experienced and well-rounded business executive with a proven track record in successfully leading and managing substantial related businesses.
•Have 5-10 years of senior and top management experience in a substantial company in South Africa.
•Have a track record of facilitating substantial sustained profitable growth in businesses.
•Have a track record of growing businesses.
